This role specializes in performing remote technical support of IBM software, hardware, and solutions, with skills in Linux/Unix and Windows required.
Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, debugging complex systems, and collaborating with support organizations to resolve issues efficiently. You will communicate action plans to customers and contribute to knowledge bases and support tools.
The candidate must be a self-starter, quick learner, and able to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment, with availability for early/late shifts and weekend/holiday work as needed.
As a TSE, you will:
* Provide troubleshooting and technical advice to IBM customers
* Offer technical leadership to customers and internal teams
* Code debug modules, write sample code, and review documentation
* Create knowledge base articles for issue resolution
* Contribute to new support offerings
* Use problem determination skills to assist clients and support teams
* Collaborate with support organizations to prioritize and resolve issues
* Communicate action plans effectively
* Improve support tools, procedures, and processes
* Mentor team members
* Support organizational objectives and customer satisfaction

Education requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Communication, Electronic Engineering, or related fields. Experience with UNIX/Linux, MQ, and customer support is essential. Fluency in English and Chinese is preferred. Mainframe experience is a plus.
