**As the Digital Copywriter you will be responsible for supporting Petal & Pup's marketing and creative process from concept to delivery by crafting captivating copy that elevates our brand and maintains a consistent tone of voice across all channels. You will implement proven SEO strategies to optimize content for search visibility and drive traffic. Through close collaboration with various brand teams, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Petal customer across global markets.**
**Major Components**:
- Uphold Petal & Pup's core brand values both internally and externally with all partners.
- Translate marketing and creative briefs.
- Develop high-quality written content for a variety of marketing materials, including but not limited to; website content, EDM's, SMS, Campaign Naming Conventions and Preview Lines, Social Channels and more as required.
- Editing and quality control of copy across all departments and channels to ensure brand cohesion and quality of work.
- Ensure copy is grammatically correct, regionally-focused and with accurate spelling (US and AU versions).
- Follow Brand Guidelines and Tone of Voice frameworks to ensure copy is consistently on brand and developed for specific audiences and channels.
- Understand and implement basic SEO principles to optimize content for search engines.
- Ability to prioritize and work to deadlines.
- Understands the Petal customer across regions and the importance of language to sell products and storytell online.
- Confidence in working with the wider marketing and creative teams, and other related departments.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Collaborate with others within the marketing department to facilitate SEO optimisations and implementation.
- Stay across SEO industry news and trends and share with the team when necessary.
**Skills & Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years in a digital marketing or creative copywriting role.
- Previous experience in the fashion industry is preferred.
