Compassionate Caregiver Needed for In-Home Support
Flexible Part-Time Opportunity
We are seeking a caring and dedicated individual to provide in-home support services, empowering our clients to live independently. This role offers a unique blend of flexibility and fulfillment, allowing you to make a positive impact in your community.
The Role:
This position involves traveling between clients' homes and assisting with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centered care and support. Your duties and responsibilities may include:
* Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
* Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, traveling to medical appointments
* Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
* Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
* Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
* Performing work under the supervision of a Care Coordinator
* Services are generally between the hours of 6 AM - 6 PM, Monday to Friday
What You Will Need:
* Australian Federal Police Clearance
* Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
* Smartphone with internet access
