What role will you play?
You will focus on designing, implementing and supporting data pipelines using a variety of in-house developed and vendor platforms. In collaboration with business analysts, data producers and consumers, you will deliver quality data solutions, streamline business processes and create impactful outcomes. Being part of a globally distributed team, you will work across time zones to provide support and ensure seamless operations. Additionally, you will provide coaching and mentorship to junior engineers.
What You Offer
5+ years of experience with database platforms and SQL
Proven experience developing, debugging, and testing code
Experience transforming data between data models, or for reporting purposes
Experience analysing and interpreting data to identify patterns and trends
The ability to communicate problems and solutions effectively to both business and technical colleagues
A good understanding of data modelling, data structures, and/or design patterns, applying them to develop pragmatic solutions
Experience in the following technologies and tools would be highly valuable – a data transformation tool (e.g. Dataiku, Alteryx Designer), a data modelling tool (e.g. Erwin), Java and Python, AWS experience and/or certification.
