Job Description
The team at Flexiforce are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver to join a busy manufacturing company based in Mittagong, NSW. Immediate start and possibility of ongoing employment for the right candidate. The position typically involves regular trips out to Canberra, ACT, Sydney, NSW, and Newcastle, NSW, and is suited to someone who is safety focused, dependable, and comfortable with regional and metro driving.
Standard hours are Monday to Friday. However, overtime and additional hours may be required depending on delivery schedules and operational demands. Reliability is a MUST.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating HC vehicles safely and efficiently
* Transporting manufactured goods to various delivery locations
* Load restraint and compliance with transport regulations
* Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting maintenance issues
* Completing delivery paperwork and logbooks accurately
* Assisting with loading and unloading when required
* Maintaining a professional manner with customers and clients
* Adhering to all workplace health and safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
* Current HC Truck Licence
* Minimum 12 months HC driving experience preferred
* Good driving record and knowledge of road transport regulations
* Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
* Strong reliability and punctuality
* Good communication skills and professional presentation
* Forklift Licence highly regarded but not essential
* Knowledge of Canberra, Sydney, and Newcastle routes advantageous
