We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as an External Sales Representative.
About the Role:
This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and increase customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a tailored sales plan to meet business objectives, leveraging market intelligence and industry trends.
* Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers, offering expert product advice, and delivering value-added solutions to drive repeat business.
* New Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, leveraging market intelligence and future construction project leads.
* Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports and documentation according to company requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary or trade level qualifications in a mechanical or electrical field are required.
* Past Experience: Past industrial pump sales experience and specifically selling into the mining sector will be highly valued.
* Proven Track Record: Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record of lead generation and deal closure in customer-facing roles.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office applications, and other sales management systems.
* Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to engage with customers effectively.
