About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to install, manage, maintain, and optimise our clients' network environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of network infrastructure while providing expert troubleshooting and operational support across diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities
· Install, configure, test, maintain, and administer network hardware and software, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
· Monitor network traffic, capacity, usage, and performance to ensure optimal availability, integrity, and efficiency.
· Analyse, evaluate, and recommend improvements to network architecture, infrastructure, and operations.
· Troubleshoot and resolve network faults, outages, and performance issues, and provide timely specialist support.
· Manage network security, including user access, authentication, permissions, and security controls.
· Document network configurations, inventory, fault diagnosis, resolutions, and maintenance procedures.
· Support the implementation of new and upgraded networks, systems, and infrastructure in line with business requirements.
· Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of network services.
· Provide operational support, including user assistance and escalation support where required.
Skills and Experience
* A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
* At least two years of relevant experience in a Network Administrator or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing and switching, network security, and performance monitoring.
* Experience with LAN/WAN environments, firewalls, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
