Pony has been the master of the wood fire grill since 2006, serving contemporary and modern Australian dishes crafted from the season’s freshest produce.
At the heart of our open kitchen—where Executive Chef Neil Nolan enjoys exchanging stories with guests—stands the commanding Argentinian grill, fuelled by ironbark and inspiring a menu built around its smoky brilliance.
Located in Sydney’s oldest cobblestone laneway within the historic and vibrant dining precinct of The Rocks, Pony offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Our carefully curated boutique wine selection and innovative cocktail list perfectly complement our à la carte and group menus.
As we continue to grow, we’re excited to share that the Pony brand will be expanding to a current Sydney venue in early 2026, bringing our signature wood-fired experience to even more guests.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a CDP or strong Demi Chef ready to step up
- Experience with woodfire or grill cooking highly regarded
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Passion for seasonal produce, bold flavours and open-flame cooking
- Full Australian working rights
