We are seeking a dedicated Water Treatment Coordinator to lead and support the operation and maintenance of water treatment assets, ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality drinking water. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team to ensure efficient, reliable daily operations of water treatment facilities. Manage resources, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. Develop and implement operational procedures and maintenance strategies. Optimize performance and identify opportunities for asset upgrades and process improvements. Foster a safe work environment, promoting safety initiatives and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols. Coordinate team activities, meetings, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support operational excellence. Qualifications & Skills: Effective communication skills (verbal and written). Experience planning and coordinating operational activities. Ability to analyse complex operational problems. Relevant technical qualifications, such as Certificate III in Water Operations or Water Treatment (desirable). Trade qualifications (mechanical/electrical) and tertiary qualifications in Science or Engineering are advantageous. Key Stakeholders: Internal teams across asset management, operations, safety, and community engagement. External suppliers, regulatory agencies, and service providers. Local communities and government departments. Additional Requirements: Flexible working hours, including some after-hours work. Some travel may be required. Valid driver’s license.
