To implement and manage appropriate learning programs for students and to assess individual student progress. To assist the Principal in the general educational leadership, management and administration of a particular sector of JRLF - Senior School.

The Team

Jordan RiverLearning Federation (JRLF Senior School Campus) is located in Bridgewater, Tasmania, and caters for students from Grades 7 to 12. JRLF Senior School is a unique facility which allows them to cater to a range of different learners with a focus on vocational opportunities.

About the Role

To implement and manage appropriate learning programs for students and to assess individual student progress. To assist the Principal in the general educational leadership, management and administration of a particular sector.

We are looking for

* A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
* Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005.
* Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment.
* Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.

Note: The cost associated with obtaining a RWVP is the responsibility of the individual.

Statement of Duties and a reference guide to assist with applying online

* a 1–2 page written response demonstrating your experience, skills and knowledge as they relate to the Statement of Duties.
* a resume that contains relevant personal details and work history.
* a valid email address for the purposes of email communication.
* The contact details of two referees (one must be your current or previous manager) who can confirm your work performance and ability to perform the duties.

Note that we do not require a separate statement addressing the selection criteria.
