Work Schedule
This role involves working Tuesday through to Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off.

Residential building company seeking a hungry, enthusiastic, experienced, passionate, proactive well-presented organised person who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
As our sole sales consultant, you are the face of our company, responsible for guiding prospective customers through the buying process. You will service and manage all new enquiries received and convert leads into new sales. You are expected to promote the business high expectations on quality and build trust through effective communication. The Sales Consultant must communicate effectively with potential clients, possess an overall knowledge of the sales and building process to meet clients desired needs. The Sales Consultant must have demonstrated experience completing onsite inspections, working with software, presenting quotes in person, selling granny flats, new homes, duplexes and small dual occupancy developments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Provide P J Cook Building with exclusive sales service and achieve set monthly sale targets is a must.
* Ensuring timely responses to all incoming leads and appointments through our enquiry inbox.
* Provide clients with information on base pricing and handle negotiations.
* Develop an immediate understanding of our market leading starter inclusions, way we build and how this compares to competitors within the market and develop your sales approach around this.
* Complete preliminary site assessments using CAN I BUILD – and other software to determine compliance and development possibilities.
* Complete onsite inspections to meet clients and gain understanding of site, client desired requirements and any possible site restrictions.
* Work closely with clients to understand needs and be able to offer valuable solutions.
* Present detailed site inspection data, including photos, site notes and any notable site restrictions, design changes to PJC estimating department to prepare sales estimate.
* Meet with clients in person to present, discuss sale estimates, sign clients up to our preliminary agreement using Annature or other effective measures.
* Generate and follow up leads, drive sales and traffic through completed projects.
* Arrange, promote, and conduct private open homes every Saturday on projects nearing completion.
* Develop and maintain a network of industry partners such as land developers, agents, financiers, and local community providers.
* Monitoring market conditions, competitor activity, sale volumes, pricing, and product offer.
* Liaise with Head Estimator and extended office team to ensure delivery of a high standard of service to our clients.
* Provide smooth project handovers to our architect and design team
* Attending design and sale meetings on fortnightly bases at our office.
* Early-stage proposals, in person presentation and sales targets achieved.
* Hand out info on best suited floor plan options, CAN I BUILD site plans, inclusions, and info about the business at initial site inspections and quote presentations.
* Spend time with clients to understand needs, promote how we build, inclusions and PJC differences.
* Saturday is normally the busiest day for sale consultants on the road meeting with prospective clients, showing potential clients through projects, completing signups, therefore working Saturdays is a must.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Excellent team and customer service skills.
* Experience in residential new homes and granny flats sales is essential - minimum 2-3 years' experience required. Alternatively, must have past experience working with residential builder in sales or estimating.
* Must be experienced and remain up to date with council DCP requirements and regulations for granny flats, new homes and small dual occupancy developments.
* Understand workflow processes with ability to prioritize.
* Computer literate with great verbal and written communication skills.
* Drive and commitment to grow both your own personal career as well as the overall business.
* Full understanding of the sales process with the ability to generate leads and turn these into sales.
* Have current driver's license and mobile phone.
* Australian citizenship is required for this position.
* Applicant must be Central Coast based.
