Job Description About the Role As a Rostering Officer, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient support worker schedules that align with client goals, preferences, and care requirements. You’ll work closely with Customer Care Managers and support workers to ensure services are delivered with professionalism, compassion, and respect. Key Responsibilities Create and manage client rosters that reflect individual needs, cultural preferences, and service expectations. Communicate clearly and promptly with clients and support workers regarding visit times and changes. Ensure support workers are appropriately credentialed and trained before attending client visits. Optimise routes and shift allocations to ensure cost-effective service delivery. Act as the central point of contact for rostering enquiries and maintain accurate records using scheduling software. Collaborate with internal teams to identify service improvements and contribute to the development of aged care services. Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all relevant legislation and HCA policies. Let's talk about you! Have experience in a rostering or scheduling role, preferably within aged care or community services, and possess a strong understanding of the needs of older individuals, including those living with dementia or mental illness. Demonstrate a high level of computer literacy, particularly with rostering software, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. The ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively is essential. Additionally, fluency in a second language and qualifications in dementia care or leadership would be highly regarded.
