**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**:
Our Aquatic Centre is expanding its crew of lifeguards. We're looking for 3 x energetic and safety conscious lifeguards for various shifts that cover from opening at 4am through to centre close at 9pm, to supervise our customers and ensure their safety at all times whilst using our Aquatic Centre.
Must be available to work over December/January during University holidays.
**In this role you will**:
- Supervise all users of the Aquatic Centre ensuring high standards for safety and presentation
- Opening/closing and preparing the venue for use
- Be responsible for effectively and promptly responding to emergency situations
- Conduct rostered pool and water quality tests to ensure full compliance with health and safety standards and/or regulations
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- High work ethic, commitment to professional presentation and the ability to maintain an appropriate level of fitness throughout employment.
- Previous experience as a lifeguard is desired
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Blue Card
- First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Advanced Resuscitation qualification (desired)
