About the Role
As Aquatic Manager, you'll oversee the full spectrum of operations, from financial performance and team development to stakeholder engagement and compliance. You'll lead a team dedicated to delivering top-tier aquatic programs, events, and community initiatives — including our signature Waterschool and Wriggly Bean programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide visible, hands-on leadership and foster a high-performance team culture
* Oversee operational, financial, and administrative performance
* Manage staffing, recruitment, training, and succession planning
* Maintain compliance with WHS, Child Safe Standards, NSW Health, and food safety
* Coordinate rosters, audits, and workforce tools via Tanda
* Manage systems including iClassPro, Square, and more
* Build strong partnerships with councils, clubs, and the community
About You
* Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills
* Proven experience in aquatic facility management or recreation leadership
* Committed to safety, community engagement, and operational excellence
* Problem-solver with a hands-on approach and a high level of integrity
* Tech-savvy and organised — ready to work across multiple systems
Required Qualifications & Checks
* Working With Children Check + National Police Check
* Pool Lifeguard certification
* Swim Teacher or Foundation Coach
* Cert III/IV in Sport, Aquatics, Community Recreation or similar
* Technical Pool Operations
* Food Safety Supervisor
