The Role
We are seeking a high-calibre
Senior Mining Account Manager
to manage and expand strategic relationships with some of Australia's largest and most recognised mining companies.
This is a senior, client-facing role focused on trust, retention, and growth. You will be the key commercial interface between Shermac and major mining accounts—working at executive, operational, and site levels to deliver long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and manage senior-level relationships across major mining clients—both in the boardroom and on-site.
* Act as the primary commercial point of contact between Shermac and key accounts.
* Lead high-level discussions across operational, commercial, and executive stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
* Develop a deep working knowledge of Shermac's product range and technical capabilities.
* Identify and convert growth opportunities within existing client portfolios, including:
* Mine expansions and new projects
* Asset replacement cycles
* Shutdown and refurbishment programs
* Proactively resolve issues and ensure outstanding long-term client satisfaction.
* Drive cross-sell opportunities with Shermac's Parts and Service division.
* Maintain strong internal collaboration to ensure client commitments are delivered on time and to expectation.
About You
You are a proven senior account manager with a strong background in the mining sector and a track record of managing complex, high-value client relationships.
You will bring:
* Extensive experience managing senior accounts within mining, ideally in Western Australia.
* A background in capital equipment sales or related industrial solutions.
* Significant time working on mine sites and major construction projects.
* Demonstrated capability in contract negotiation and long-term relationship management.
* The ability to anticipate client needs and deliver practical, commercial solutions.
* Strong commercial acumen and contract management skills.
* A calm, professional, and solutions-focused approach with stakeholders at all levels.
