Financial Management Professional
* We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Management Professional to join our team.
This role will involve participating in and overseeing the entering of general ledger items, including standing transactions into accounting systems, in an accurate, timely and effective manner.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all reconciliations and audit processes meet relevant accounting standards, as well as audit and taxation requirements, while being completed in a timely and effective manner.
Key responsibilities include preparing weekly cash flow reports, taking into consideration daily requirements, including taking a medium-term focus which aims to maximise net interest income.
The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in a Bachelor of Business or Commerce, majoring in accounting or equivalent, and be working towards CPA/CA qualification.
Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar role is required, with demonstrated knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and their application.
Demonstrated skills in working with and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook, are essential.
An understanding of taxation issues, particularly GST and FBT, is also required.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
