Job Opportunity
We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage accounts receivable using Opera PMS (billing, posting, debt follow-up)
* Support payroll processing and compliance
* Assist with purchasing via Purchase Plus
* Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations & reporting
* Maintain documentation and support audit/compliance requirements
Requirements:
* 2–3 years' experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within hospitality
* Strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and general ledger
* Experience using Opera PMS and/or Purchase Plus (ideal but not essential)
* Intermediate–advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
* Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize
* Clear communicator with a proactive, solution-focused approach
