About The Role
Deniliquin Dental Clinic are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dentist to join our team! You will service the community of Deniliquin providing a comprehensive Public Health dental service where no two days are same.The Dental Officer manages a mixed patient caseload with the following characteristics:Primary caseload consists of adult patients with a proportion of paediatric patients also seen.Average daily patient load of approximately 11 patientsEligible children are seen in accordance with public dental program guidelines

Current registration with AHPRA’s Dental Board of AustraliaHighly advanced skills in managing difficult clinical situations and a proven record of carrying out a broad range of advanced and complex dental proceduresUnderstanding of and commitment to a preventative/population health approach to patient careExcellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively and sensitively with a wide range of individualsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary teamAbility and willingness to travel for work purposes (Class C drivers’ licence)

The Dental Officer works as part of a multidisciplinary dental team, which includes:
Experienced dental assistantsReception and administrative staffPart-time oral health therapistAccess to a specialist oral surgeon (referral/visiting basis)Access to specialist paediatric dentists (referral/visiting basis)
