Job Description
Under the general guidance of the Director of Sales, you will be supporting the Sales team in administrative duties and assist with the co-ordination of their activities.
This role will also be key to assist in all areas of direct sales efforts to increase hotel market share, maintain a high level of customer service while bringing an unparalleled approach to converting group and leisure business.
In this role you will:
Provide comprehensive support to the Commercial team
, including generating reports, preparing proposals/contracts, creating presentations, booking travel, managing enquiries, and assisting with promotions, eventsand printed materials.
Manage and maintain sales systems
such as ANAIS, Cvent, and Delphi; distribute sales leads based on business needs, and conduct cold calls for market comparisons and lead generation.
Coordinate post-contract group requests
, ensuring seamless handover to relevant departments (Groups Reservations/Catering & Events Manager)and support sales trip/trade show preparation.
Lead and participate in special projects
, attend commercial meetings for minute taking, support client site visitsand assist in onboarding new team members.
Foster strong internal and external relationships
, delivering high standards of skilled communication and customer service, while ensuring smooth daily operations.
