Wood is seeking expressions of interest for Electrical and or Instrumentation and Controls Designers of all levels and experience to join our operations team based in Gladstone.
Executes discipline input to engineering projects
Organises, executes and coordinates assignments within agreed budget and schedule
Ensure safe project execution and adherence to Safety in Design requirements
Applicable role accountabilities to level of experience
Contribute to innovative solutions to meet the project objectives
Ensures technically sound, fit-for-purpose solutions are developed and documented
Liaison, support and timely transfer of information to other disciplines and functions
Ensure Management of Change is carried out
Quality Assurance – work within the provisions and guidelines in line with Wood's Quality Assurance systems
What makes you remarkable?
Associate or Advanced, Diploma or equivalent in 3D/2D design/drafting.
Design drafting experience, qualified with proven experience, predominantly in the Oil & Gas or Mining/Mineral sectors.
Experience may include conceptual, FEED, detailed design, and site construction experience
Experience may be in design, operation, construction/commissioning and general engineering of oil and gas, metals/mining plant facilities .
Capable of communicating and interfacing effectively with other disciplines, project managers, and clients’ representatives
Proven comprehension and application of applicable Australian and International Codes & Standards,
Any experience in E3D (PDMS) software, Other 3D Software includes, Smartplant, Microstation.
2D AutoCAD.
Experience in using SPI or Aveva.
Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
