Job Title:
Electrical Field Engineer
Job Summary:
In this key role, you will specialize in project field engineering with a focus on work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare construction drawings and sketches.
* Lead the preparation of construction drawings and schedules and the design of temporary construction facilities, ensuring the preparation of "as built" drawings and other job plans.
* Prepare, review, and approve Electrical work packages.
* Implement project specifications and procedures, applicable codes, and drawings to ensure that construction installation requirements are met.
* Perform in-progress and final quality and completeness inspections of Electrical and Instrumentation installation.
* Develop punch lists and monitor completion of punch items.
* Prepare and disposition Request for Information (RFI’s), Field Change Documents (FCD’s), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Collaborate with design engineering through to final disposition.
* Coordinate with engineering to resolve E&I design and constructability issues.
* Resolve and close out vendor and Modyard carryover works, NCRs, and necessary documentations.
* Provide technical assistance to superintendents, supervisors, and craft professionals.
Education and Experience Requirements:
A bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience is required.
