The position
As Strategic Projects Manager you will lead cross-functional strategic projects across the affiliate. This role requires a strategic thinker and problem-solver who can effectively manage large, cross-functional projects, set clear objectives, and align them with the company's long-term goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and global stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Your main responsibilities include the following:
* Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects. This includes defining project scope, deliverables, developing detailed project plans, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project completion. Identifying and mitigating project risks, managing project budgets, and ensuring that all project activities align with the company's strategic goals. Additionally, you will facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, provide regular project updates, and drive continuous improvement in project management processes.
* Lead the AI cross-functional group to accelerate uptake and skills in new technology and develop cases to support business problems and drive efficiency across business units including liaising with regional and global stakeholders to drive innovation.
* Establish a process for project management support across the affiliate to ensure appropriate use of project resources, effectively prioritize and lead strategic projects to support the commercial business.
* Demonstrated capability to lead autonomously to ensure accountability and high deliverables.
* Facilitate workshops with effective story-telling capability and presentation skills.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Science, with over 5 years of project management experience, preferably in management consulting or commercial roles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, alongside beneficial experience with AI and other innovative digital tools, enhancing project execution and efficiency.
* Strong project management capabilities with demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, effective communication, and the ability to work independently in an international, cross-functional team environment.
* A strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry is preferred, along with sharp analytical skills and a business mindset to identify opportunities and drive initiatives.
* Self-driven with a positive, can-do attitude, great sense of humour, and readiness to take on new responsibilities while engaging effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
