Tempo Ballina is seeking a passionate and experienced Gym Creche Carer to join our team. As a casual Gym Creche Carer, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for children while their parents or guardians use our fitness facilities. This role is a crucial part of our commitment to supporting our members and their families.
**What you'll be doing**
- Supervising and caring for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in a fun, safe and creative environment
- Organising and facilitating age-appropriate activities, games and playtime to keep children engaged and entertained
- Ensuring the creche area is clean, well-stocked and maintained to the highest safety standards
- Providing exceptional customer service to both children and their parents or guardians
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and licensing requirements
- Collaborating with the wider childcare team to provide a cohesive and consistent service
**What we're looking for**
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a childcare or similar role
- Childcare qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care highly looked at
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and their families
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development and wellbeing
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
