We are currently seeking multiple passionate individuals to join our team as **Visitor Services Officers** (VSOs).
Our Client combines a shrine, a world-class museum, and an extensive archive. Its purpose is to commemorate the sacrifice of those Australians who have died in war and to assist Australians to remember, interpret and understand the Australian experience of war and its enduring impact on Australian society.
The position is due to commence training on **Tuesday 2nd April for 4 days full days (fully paid).**
**Duties** 
- Be the first point of contact for a diverse range of visitors 
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner 
- Respond to visitor inquiries with accuracy, offering information and direction that fosters an outstanding customer experience 
- Contribute to a team-based, cooperative environment where teamwork and collaboration are key 
- Ensure the safety and security of both visitors and exhibits by adhering to established protocols 
- Undertake manual handling and movement of a wide range of objects
***Requirements** 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
- Solid customer service skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of visitors 
- A passion for Australian history and culture 
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality 
- Availability to work 3-4 shifts per week, a must on Saturdays, Mondays and Tuesdays, with shifts on other days available 
- Ability to pick up shifts on the day, with 1-2 hours' notice 
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to pass a National Police Check 
- Knowledge of Australian military history is preferred but not essential

- Penalty rates for hours worked on Sundays or Public Holidays 
- Flexible, casual assignment with shifts available Monday to Sunday, including full and half days, between 9:00 AM and 5:06 PM every day of the week
