About The Role
Applications are invited from candidates with current Australian work rights to join a dedicated team of health care professionals, working to deliver high quality, person-centred care at the Multi-Purpose Service sites of Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD). Roles are available at four rural sites:
Bonalbo, Kyogle, Nimbin
and
Urbenville
.
The Assistant in Nursing supports the nursing team in the delivery of nursing care in accordance with the nursing care plan, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred nursing care in line with the nursing care plan.
Assist registered nurses in clinical assessments, medication administration and documentation.
Support the provision of acute, emergency, respite, palliative and allied health services.
Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff.
Engage with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams to promote client wellbeing.
Qualifications & Requirements
Current Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or legal right to work in Australia.
Valid nursing registration or enrolment with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Experience in aged care or community health settings is preferred.
Proactive, collaborative and client-focused attitude.
Probationary period of six months from appointment.
