We are seeking a collaborative and dedicated Project Producer to join the Community Arts Network team. In this key role, you will be instrumental in the successful delivery of the Unfinished Business project.

Unfinished Business is a critically key First Nations cultural transmission project. Led by three Badjaling Elders, Noongar matriarchal knowledge will be shared and preserved through art and making. Learning traditional skills, culture and creation stories, Noongar women of all ages will create artefacts and content that culminates in a breathtaking immersive exhibition.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the project\'s administration and management, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently and with cultural sensitivity. You will manage the project team, handle financial administration, and maintain open communication with all stakeholders, including Local Government Authorities. You will develop and nurture respectful relationships with Noongar Elders, First Nations community members, artists and project partners.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing the project team to plan and deliver the Unfinished Business project.
- Engaging with artists, community members and partners to maintain strong, positive relationships.
- Overseeing all aspects of exhibition design and production in collaboration with the project team.
- Supporting marketing, publications and community education initiatives like artist talks and workshops.
- Managing project budgets, documentation and reporting to ensure all legislative and organisational requirements are met.

The Project Producer will also need to:

- Have flexibility to undertake regional and international travel, and weekend work.
- Hold a current driver\'s licence and Working with Children Check.

This position requires a responsive individual who can assess community needs and adapt accordingly. You will play a vital part in upholding our organisation\'s values and contributing to the project\'s long-term success.

Priority will be given to suitably qualified applicants of First Nations background.

This is a fixed 12-month term employee contract with the potential for extension, offering 22.8 hours per week. The salary will be set pending experience between Level 4.1 - 4.3 of the SACS Interim Award 2011, with an hourly rate of $40.47 - $42.21 plus superannuation.
