SLAM Learning Centres, is a fun and vibrant learning alternative, offering both 1-on-1 and group classes. We have our main location in Mentone. We value making learning as engaging and enjoyable as possible. Offering classes from ages Prep to VCE mathematics as well as VCE Physics and Chemistry.
We are also planning to introduce English next year from Prep-Year 10
We are looking for tutors for VCE Specialist Maths ,English(Prep-Year 10)and an ability to teach Physics or Chemistry is a great advantage. Knowledge of the VCE system is highly desirable.
Hours will vary depending on subjects, but will largely be weekday evenings and the possible Saturday.

* All course content and student allocation will be provided so you're ready to just show up and teach
* Maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere
Requirements
* Must have completed VCE with high ATAR
* Be comfortable and confident around children aged 6-18
* Able to teach VCE Specialist Maths
* Have a high level of English proficiency both written and spoken
* Have a high level of maths skills
* Be an effective communicator
* A working with children check is necessary, but can be obtained after a successful trial shift
* No experience is required however is beneficial
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $26.50 – $30.00 per hour
