We're partnering with a globally recognised investment manager, to appoint a Lawyer & Compliance Manager within their APAC Legal & Compliance team.
The role:
You'll operate as a key member of the APAC Legal & Compliance function, providing hands‐on legal and regulatory support across a sophisticated funds management platform.
* Advising on Australian and APAC regulatory matters
* Drafting and reviewing IMAs, fund documentation and commercial agreements
* Supporting compliance frameworks, policies and regulatory obligations
* Reviewing marketing materials, RFPs/DDQs and client communications
* Supporting governance across boards and committees
* Liaising with regulators, auditors and external counsel across jurisdictions
About you:
* Qualified lawyer with experience in asset / funds management
* Strong knowledge of Australian financial services regulation
* Exposure to Hong Kong / Singapore regulatory frameworks highly regarded
* Experience working across both legal and compliance functions
* Commercial, pragmatic and confident engaging with senior stakeholders
