We're on the hunt for an experienced and hands‐on Head Chef to lead the kitchen and continue driving a consistent, high‐quality food offering. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high‐volume pub environment, understands how to run strong kitchen systems and enjoys leading a team through busy service periods.
The menu focuses on quality, hearty pub fare with British influence, from pub classics and grill favourites through to share‐style dishes and weekly specials.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef in a busy pub, bistro or casual dining venue
* Ability to lead and develop a kitchen team in a fast‐paced environment
* Strong understanding of kitchen systems including rostering, invoicing, ordering, stock‐taking and cost control
* Experience managing labour and food costs while maintaining consistency and quality
* Passion for delivering quality pub food with efficient service
* Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
* A calm and solutions‐focused approach during busy trade periods
