What you will be doing
* Assist with the development and implementation of the inventory system including critical spares store and consumables.
* Develop inventory procedures including documentation, dispatching, and receiving as per Asset Management Strategy.
* Use of EAM Infor, Microsoft Office, or similar systems to order parts and stock.
* Provide stores service daily to users of inventory for the repair of company assets including vessels, containers, forklifts, trucks, and other cargo handling equipment.
* Set and manage inventory levels in accordance to demand and in line with the existing asset strategy.
* Organise and conduct stocktakes at regular basis including reporting on inventory levels and stock variances for Marine and Shoreside equipment regularly.
* Monitor and document movements of critical spares stock including receipt and delivery using a forklift when necessary.
* Assist in general warehouse duties.
* Collection of materials from suppliers.
What we require from you
* Experience as a store person
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Positive can-do attitude
* A valid forklift license or the ability to obtain
* Maintain a valid driver's license
* Proficient in EAM Infor Inventory Control or similar systems
* Good communication skills and attention to detail
