Our client, Tefco Trailers (QLD) Pty Limited, began in Goulburn in regional NSW as a trailer repair workshop with a team of 5, is looking for qualified Auto Electricians to join their team based at NSW.
What we offer:
* 1 fulltime position/s available
* A$70,000 - A$85,000 PA depending on experience
* Location: NSW
The Person:
* Previous experience in a similar role, having worked on commercial vehicles
* Trade qualification in Auto Electrician
* Have a valid driver’s license
* Have a valid forklift license preferred but not essential
* Available to travel to various locations when needed.
* Knowledge and experience of modern heavy vehicle and trailer electrical and electronic systems.
* Be self-motivated and work in a professional manner.
* Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
The Role:
* Accurately note and complete service repair orders
* Carry out service and repairs according to manufacturers specification
* Complete electrical fit out to new vehicle / trailer builds
* Attend electrical breakdowns if required
* Ensure all installations, service and repairs are accurately documented and to quality standards
* EBS brake system maintenance
* Strong Knowledge of electrical Systems
* Experience with heavy vehicles is highly regarded
* Fabrication and installation of wiring harnesses for vehicle components and systems
* Diagnosing faults in electrical systems and equipment
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and specification sheets
* Delivering high-quality work outputs within designated production timelines and job requirements
