**Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre -** **Facilities Manager**

The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is Western Australia's premier event destination which is home to some of Perth's most exclusive gala dinners and events, large scale conferences, corporate events, exhibitions, and theatre performances.
**The role**
The primary objective of the Facility Manager position is to liaise with the General Manager of PCEC to budget and manage the lifecycle of the core assets of the venue, ensure that plant, equipment, and buildings are maintained and managed in accordance with statutory and industry standards and within budget.
To manage the daily provision of preventative and reactive maintenance works across PCEC via the delegation of work tasks to onsite staff and appropriately skilled trades people. The Facility Manager will take full accountability for the delivery of services and the completion of all assigned maintenance tasks to achieve all contractual obligations around safety, performance, quality, communications, and other obligations as required.
**Qualifications/Experience**
- Five years' experience in Management (Facility Management desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in a business or commerce related discipline (or demonstrated equivalent professional training and experience) an advantage.
- Technical expertise and/or trade qualifications in building maintenance, electrical trades, mechanical services, or similar building services area (preferred)
- Experience in the Building Services industry
- Proven experience working with budgets and profit / loss reports
- Sound skill preparing and managing work planning and scheduling practices and procedures
- Competency in managing site BMS system**s**:
- Experience in venue asset, lifecycle and equipment management
- Proven ability to establish and maintain an effective customer relationship
- Ability to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience in the management of subcontractors
- Experience in coordinating and auditing of building maintenance activities
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
