Ear Science Institute Australia is seeking a proactive and experienced IT professional to manage and optimise our infrastructure, supporting cutting edge research, clinical services and business operations.
About the role:
In this hands-on role, you will:
* Manage servers, networks, cloud platforms and end-user support.
* Administer and maintain Microsoft technologies including Azure, Office 365, Defender and SQL.
* Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure (SASE SDWAN, firewalls, VLANS).
* Ensure system security, compliance and disaster recovery readiness.
* Manage user accounts, permissions and access levels.
* Automate tasks and contribute to IT projects and upgrades.
* Provide technical support and training across the organisation.
* Collaborate closely with external partners and service providers to deliver robust solutions.

About you:
You'll bring:
* Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Axure and SQL.
* Strong networking and visualisation experience (Hyper-V, VMware).
* Excellent problem solving, documentation and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Microsoft certifications and experience with compliance frameworks (desirable)
