Overview of the Role
As a Mid-weight Copywriter at BRX, you bring ideas to life through sharp writing, strong storytelling and digital-first thinking. You can take a brief, interrogate it, and work independently or with an Art Director to develop thoughtful, effective creative solutions.
You write everything from platform ideas to taglines, headlines, scripts, social and through the funnel. You've got a feel for brand voice and a finger on the pulse of modern culture and digital trends.

Key Responsibilities
Write persuasive, high-quality copy across campaign formats
Develop and refine creative ideas that align with brand tone, audience and business goals
Deliver campaign messaging that performs across channels, especially social and digital
Adapt your writing to multiple brands and formats with accuracy and insight
Collaborate with Art Directors and Designers on idea generation and execution
Present creative work with clarity and professionalism in internal and client settings
Contribute to creative reviews and provide feedback that elevates the work
Delivery & Impact
Manage your copy requirements across multiple briefs, ensuring all work is delivered on time, to scope, and aligned to campaign objectives
Ensure all copy meets channel, brand, and compliance requirements, partnering closely with Creative and Production to guarantee seamless execution
Contribute to measurable campaign outcomes, writing with a focus on audience impact, engagement, and strategic effectiveness.
Take initiative in solving creative challenges and driving ideas forward
Offer mentorship or support to junior team members when needed
Actively invest in your own development and contribute to team culture
Experiment with generative AI tools and evolving content formats
Stay updated on copywriting trends, channel best practices and language innovation
Share new tools, frameworks or approaches that improve how we write or think
Experience & Skills
4–6 years in agency or commercial creative environments
Strong portfolio of campaign and cross-channel writing
Experience across social, digital, display and through-the-line
Ability to work independently and within a team
Proficient in Adobe CC, Figma and collaborative tools
Salary Range
Commensurate with experience, including superannuation and access to BRX's employee benefits and learning programs.
