On behalf of our esteemed client, a leading entity in the automotive industry, we are currently seeking candidates for a contract position. This opportunity is available immediately on a 12-month contractual role, with the potential for an extension.
The Vehicle EvaluationTechnicianis primarily responsible for assisting with a wide range of technical evaluation and diagnostic tasks related to vehicle testing programs by participating in local suitability & durability activities thereby contributing to a range of technical evaluations and research tasks in relation to the development of vehicle specifications and performance in order to maximise product desirability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supports the implementation of agreed vehicle test processes and procedures consistent with set policies in order to achieve vehicle evaluation objectives.
* Assists with testing events for passenger & commercial vehicles and products by understanding key objectives and requirements.
* Under direction, conducts safe and consistent product evaluations as per relevant standards.
* Undertakes product comparison, identifies gaps/concerns and assists in establishing suitable countermeasures.
* Supports scheduling and planning activities for projects, including Safety strategies and plans.
Qualification / Experience:
* At least 5+ year's minimum experience in the Automotive or related industry, specialising in mechanical & electrical diagnostics.
* Current Drivers Licence.
* Driver training and off road experience and training highly desired. (including a clean driving record)
* 1st aid training an advantage.
* Truck Licence an advantage.
* Competent PC user with MS Word, Excel skills & PowerPoint.
