About the role
Perth Scientific has been supplying medical and scientific equipment to hospitals and universities for 42 years. We are looking for a service engineer to join our service team and support our customers in Western and Eastern Australia.
Responsibilities
* Install, service and repair medical and laboratory equipment in hospitals, universities, veterinary clinics and laboratories.
* Provide preventive maintenance, scheduled servicing, fault repairs and call‐outs when required.
* Respond to all hospital call‐outs in a timely manner.
* Travel to Perth metropolitan area and regional Western Australia.
* Maintain accurate documentation of service activity and product knowledge base.
Qualifications
* Recognised qualification in biomedical engineering, electronic engineering or equivalent.
* Experience in service and repair of medical and laboratory equipment, preferably disinfection and sterilising equipment.
* Strong problem‐solving and logical thinking skills.
* Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with proficiency in customer training and product presentations.
* Ability to work autonomously and travel statewide.
