First Nations Social Work Lecturer
The Master of Social Work (Qualifying) program is seeking dedicated professionals to join our teaching team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering interactive workshops, primarily on campus, that foster a culturally safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Marking assessments and managing classroom administration with a focus on student support and advising.
* Contributing to the development of high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of students, emphasizing social work theory and practice in First Nations contexts.
Candidates must have a strong understanding of social work principles and a commitment to advancing cultural safety and First Nations perspectives in education. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to creating positive change in the lives of students.
Requirements:
* A Master's-level qualification in Social Work or related field.
* Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* Extensive experience as a practicing Social Worker with a strong passion for social justice.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve educational goals.
