About the Role:
As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and suppliers. This role requires a proactive, organised, and personable individual with excellent communication and multitasking skills. You will support office operations and assist the Managing Director with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception and office area
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls promptly and courteously
• Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery to relevant staff
• Respond to general enquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Schedule and manage calendar appointments and meetings for the Managing Director
• Assist with preparing and filing council application forms
• Perform general data entry, maintain job logs, and update project registers
• Monitor and order office supplies and stationery
About You:
• Previous reception experience is preferred, but not essential on-the-job training will be provided
• Professional phone manner and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to multitask
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Friendly, reliable, and professional presentation
