Responsibilities
- The Handy will (assist the team to) manage the day‑to‑day client activities for the assigned property / facility and be the on‑site key point of contact for key stakeholders and/or client.
- Coordinate facilities management as delegated by the Facilities Manager.
- Ensure that difficulties on site are resolved promptly with minimum disruption to business as usual activities and to the agreed program.
- Key point of contact for Facilities within the client’s portfolio.
- Implement building procedures and performance measures and ensure they are maintained at all times.
- 24 / 7 emergency call support and site attendance is required.
Qualifications
- Proactive with a keen eye for detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Knowledge or exposure to building / facilities management would be advantageous although not essential.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and grasp new concepts.
- Possess some exposure to building services maintenance & facilities management.
- Ability to deal with a variety of issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlines.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
