**Where you will be working**:
**General Rotations RMO/SRMOs** at Gosford, Woy Woy & Wyong have the opportunity to undertake terms (rotations) in some of the following areas: Anaesthetics, Intensive Care Medicine, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, General Medicine, Geriatrics Rehabilitation, Haematology, Medical Assessment Unit, Neurology, Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Renal, Respiratory, Rehabilitation, ASU, ENT Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, Psychiatry, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics', Teaching/ University, ,Addiction Medicine and Emergency Medicine. The RMO/SRMO clinical year consists of 5 terms and includes at least one term in Emergency and one term in Relief. RMO/SRMOs are expected to spend part of their contracted time at both the Gosford, Woy Woy and Wyong sites. CCLHD has a strong commitment to vocational training and career support; term allocations are based on submitted preferences, training needs and future aspirations.

**Gosford Hospital** is the principal local referral hospital for the Central Coast, with over 500 inpatient beds and 24/7 access to the emergency department and operating theatres. A recent $368 million dollar redevelopment delivered a new emergency department, ICU, nuclear medicine facility, special care nursery and expanded medical imaging services.

**Wyong Hospital** is an acute major metropolitan hospital with over 300 beds providing inpatient, outpatient and emergency services to residents in the northern region of the Central Coast. A recent $200 million expansion delivered a new emergency department, ICU, paediatric unit, inpatient wards, theatres and expanded medical imaging services.

Woy Woy Hospital is a non-acute hospital with approximately 70 beds with both sub-acute and rehabilitation wards.

In conjunction with the University of Newcastle, CCLHD has recently opened the Central Coast Clinical School and Research Institute on the Gosford Hospital campus, providing additional opportunities in training and research.

- _Where it is identified that a prevocational doctor has a two year prevocational contract and has accepted a 2025 PGY 2 position at another facility, the relevant JMO Units will be notified and they will contact the doctor to clarify which position they will be working in for 2025_
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, including providing leadership and direction to ensure appropriate management of patients
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise, with demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
- Demonstrated time management and problem solving skills. Along with Evidence of continuing professional development and commitment to self-education.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer skills, with minimum of 30 words per minute.
- Demonstrated understanding of how the District is Caring for the Coast and how this role would contribute.
