We are seeking a skilled and experienced Floor and Wall Tiler to join our team at Waterproofing Tiling Facilities Qld Pty Ltd in Mackay, QLD. This is a casual/full-time position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and residential tiling projects in the local area.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and laying tiles on floors and walls to a high standard of workmanship
* Cutting and shaping tiles to fit around obstacles and edges
* Mixing and applying adhesive and grout to secure tiles in place
* Cleaning and finishing tiled surfaces to ensure a professional appearance
* Working closely with the project manager and other tradespeople to ensure efficient and timely completion of tiling works
* Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
What we're looking for
Formal qualifications in floor and wall tiling, such as a Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
* Demonstrable experience as a floor and wall tiler, preferably in a commercial or residential construction setting
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, precise tiling work
* Good problem-solving skills to overcome challenges on the job
* A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* A current driver's licence and your own reliable transport
* Must be reliable
* White card holder prefered but not essential.
