Our philosophy, the Ecology of Play, recognises that children thrive when play environments are diverse, natural, and connected.The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Landscaper with a love for horticulture and planting to bring playscapes to life. 
This role revolves around shaping environments where children play, learn, and grow. 
You'll work across both softscapes (living elements) and hardscapes (built features). 
ResponsibilitiesDeliver softscape works: soil preparation, turfing, planting, mulching, and sensory gardensInstall, test, and maintain irrigation systemsBuild small hardscape features: edging, retaining walls, decking/pergolas, sandpits, paving, concretingWork with natural materials (timber, stone, logs, boulders) to create child-friendly play zonesRead plans/set-outs, check levels and quality against specificationsMaintain tidy, safe sites and document progress (photos/notes)Collaborate with the Wearthy team, subcontractors, and clientsIdeal QualificationsCertificate III in Landscape Construction (mandatory)5+ years' landscaping experience (childcare, education, or community projects ideal)Robust skills across soft and hardscapesGenuine passion for horticulture, planting, and child-focused designCurrent manual driver's licence and willingness to travelBlue Card (working with children check) or ability to obtainAbility to obtain a National Police Check (mandatory)Bonus: skid steer/excavator, MR licence, EWP, Chainsaw L1, First AidWhy Join Wearthy4-day work week (full-time) – long weekends, every weekA supportive culture that puts people firstProjects that directly shape children's play and learningSafe systems of work, consistent project pipeline across SEQ, and growth opportunitiesCommitment to staff wellbeing and meaningful impactHow To ApplyClick Apply and submit your resume.
