The successful candidate will teach English across the age range of 11 – 18 at Prince Andrew Secondary School, developing and implementing schemes of work to enhance student learning. They must also monitor and assess student performance, providing support to colleagues in this specialist subject.
To be eligible for this role, applicants must hold a UK teaching qualification and QTS, a degree level qualification in English supported by experience of teaching English at key stages 3, 4 and 5 with specific experience in literacy improvement at any level. They will have knowledge of GCSE and A level courses available for English and the Secondary Curriculum within the UK relevant to English.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to fairness, integrity and teamwork, using their expertise to benefit the community and contribute to workforce development in St Helena.
