Crane Operator (CN/C1)
Clough is partnering with the Water Corporation and Jacobs to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities. The project will upgrade the facility's sludge treatment processing system, recover biosolids for agricultural use, and produce biogas as a renewable energy source.
We are looking for CN & C1 Crane Operators to commence immediately.
Responsibilites
* Operate crane to lift, transfer and place loads within the crane's working range and safe lifting capacity.
* Assess ground conditions before crane set‑up or loading.
* Inspect crane mechanisms and lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions or damage.
* Ensure the crane is level on the outriggers and all safety mechanisms are operable before lifting.
* Conduct thorough daily pre‑start inspections as per the manufacturer's recommendations.
* Determine load weights and verify against lifting capacities to prevent overload.
* Direct the support team (riggers) with crane set‑up.
* Shut down and leave the crane in a safe manner at all times when leaving.
Qualifications
* High Risk Work License (CN/C1)
* Working at Heights
* Construction White/Blue Card
* Current Australian "C" Class Driver's Licence
* High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (Desired)
* High Risk Work Licence – EWP (Desired)
