We are seeking a hands-on, motivated Gardener to join our Estate & Vineyard team. If you take pride in beautiful landscapes, quality work, and working outdoors in a stunning environment, we’d love to hear from you!
The Role
Working collaboratively across both estate properties, you will play a key role in preserving and elevating the presentation and performance of our gardens, vineyards, and facilities. This is a varied, active and rewarding role that supports day to day operations and long-term property care.
Key Responsibilities
Vineyard & Horticultural Support
* Assist the Vineyard Manager with vine health, seasonal programs and crop productivity.
* Monitor and operate irrigation, fertigation and soil health systems.
Grounds, Gardens & Landscape Presentation
* Maintain high standard garden and grounds presentation across visitor facing and operational areas.
* Plan, prioritise and deliver regular maintenance and seasonal tasks.
Facilities, Assets & Equipment
* Conduct routine checks and coordinate repairs for buildings, sheds, machinery and tools.
* Ensure equipment is safe, well maintained and operational.
Contractor & Supplier Coordination
* Engage, schedule and supervise contractors to ensure quality work.
* Support procurement processes, including quotes, approvals and invoice checks.
Security, Safety & Compliance
* Maintain safe work practices, site security and biosecurity standards.
* Ensure licences, permits and safety documentation remain up to date.
Records & Communication
* Maintain service records, maintenance logs and asset registers.
* Report operational issues, budget considerations and priorities to management.
About You
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in gardening, farming, maintenance or similar hands-on roles.
* Experience operating irrigation systems.
* Competent operating a variety of machinery and equipment.
* Valid Victorian driver’s licence and relevant tickets/certificates.
* Australian citizen or permanent resident.
