Qualification / Skills Required :Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner.Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.Practice Information :This bulk billing Family Medical Centre accepts Medicare-covered items, with some exceptions.Accredited by AGPAL.The clinic is 7 years old, adjoining Gin Gin Hospital (built in 2016).Friendly, efficient, and polite staff dedicated to quality service.Services include Women's and Men's health, indigenous health, chronic disease management, ECGs, spirometry, ABI, childhood immunisations, skin cancer checks, and excisions.The team comprises one full-time GP, Practice Manager, Practice Nurse, Medical Assistant, and Reception staff.There are no after-hours responsibilities; on-call duties are handled by the Principal Doctor and MOPP for Gin Gin Hospital.
Gin Gin and District Information :Gin Gin is a small rural town on the Bruce Highway, approximately 40 minutes from Bundaberg, 45 minutes from Bargara, and 350 km from Brisbane.
It features scenic landscapes, a vibrant main street, and agricultural areas including sugar cane, avocados, macadamias, and cattle.
