This is a practical, outdoor role in a busy farming environment where you'll play a vital part in ensuring effective water management across cotton crops.
Working within a supportive team, you'll enjoy variety, responsibility, and the chance to contribute directly to crop success.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure consistent and efficient water supply to crops.
Your duties will include:Operating and maintaining irrigation systems (siphons, pumps, channels, and valves)Starting, monitoring, and shutting down water flows to ensure even irrigationChecking water levels and adjusting flows to prevent over- or under-wateringConducting routine inspections of irrigation infrastructure and reporting any faults or damageAssisting with general farm duties, including maintenance and field supportBenefits$35.00 per hour pay rateShort-term role, 4-8 weeks durationConsistent hours, approx.
