We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Store Manager to lead our store team and deliver exceptional customer service.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading daily store operations, mentoring the team, supporting customers with expert advice, and creating welcoming interactions. They will also manage stock levels, assist with inventory, collaborate with the warehouse team, and champion OH&S standards to promote a safe workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead daily store operations and mentor the team to achieve sales and performance targets
* Support customers with expert advice and create welcoming interactions to drive customer satisfaction
* Manage stock levels, assist with inventory, and collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient logistics
* Champion OH&S standards and promote a safe workplace culture
Requirements:
* 2–3 years of retail leadership experience (big box preferred or Store Manager from a smaller format)
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to build effective relationships with the team and customers
* A passion for mentoring and developing others to drive career growth and succession planning
* Proven success in achieving sales and performance targets through effective leadership and operational management
