About the Role

Working from the beginning to the end of project initialisation across the whole marketing funnel, this is a terrific opportunity to deliver high-quality conversion-ready content leading to measurable engagement, pipeline and organic growth across one of the largest product categories in higher education.

In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the Business School marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support business objectives. You will work closely on a day-to-day basis with Marketing and Student Recruitment and the College Leadership Teams, other stakeholders and industry, aligning plans and activity to ensure College and University priorities align.

The key position responsibilities are listed in the position description, but some of your accountabilities will be:

* Developing and executing the Business School marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support business objectives.
* Liaising with key content contributors and subject matter experts, including external bodies and partners, to source and create short and long form copy and video content suitable for different customers and stakeholders, scalable across a range of channels including digital advertising, email marketing, print and social media.
* Creating a content calendar including a hub of business education content and assets that can be re-purposed across departments.

About You

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will have demonstrated knowledge of best practice principles and standards for digital content across web, social and email marketing, including an understanding of the principals of information architecture, UX and UI, page design, content management and SEO as they relate to web production and publication.

You will have well-developed written communication skills which will enable you to edit and proof-read content for on-line channels tailored to diverse audiences. You will have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills which will facilitate the development of positive relationships both within and external to your team.

Other keys to success include:

* Demonstrated experience in video editing, including basic editing techniques and tools
* Sound knowledge of industry best practices and the ability interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures, including content delivery standards, usability and accessibility.
* Significant problem-solving capabilities and organisational skills with the ability to work independently to determine and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Completion of a degree in communications, media studies, marketing or a related discipline with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and / or education and / or training.
* An understanding of the higher education sector is desirable.
