ABOUT THE ROLE
This role within the Cath Lab team offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing a variety of interventional cardiology procedures, including structural heart and electrophysiology, with a highly skilled team of cardiologists and cardiac anesthetists;
- Contributing directly to patient recovery and well-being in a dynamic healthcare environment;
- Making a meaningful impact on cardiovascular health;
- Being able to manage your time effectively to meet your responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant registration with AHRPA as a Registered Nurse;
- Critical care, Cath lab, cardiology experience essential;
- Recent Cardiac Cath lab experience preferred but not essential;
- RN DIV 2 will be considered if you have recent Cath lab experience;
- Ability to be flexible with hours with potential late finishes;
- Ability to do on-call Cath lab over weekends and after hours as required.

REMUNERATION
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $36.13 - $ 49.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Melbourne, is a 126-bed facility with operating theatres, a cardiac catheter lab, inpatient wards, and a day oncology centre.
Future plans allow for the continuing development of the site to continue to grow and meet the health care requirements of the expanding community.
This new state-of-the-art hospital is due to open in February 2024.
